The campaign is the best part of this game, in my opinion. Finish the campaign at least once and complete all missions. When you create a new character, Destiny 2 gives you the option you skip the main campaign missions and jump straight to the endgame. It’s not crucial to playing the game but I just wanted to let you know about this cool feature.

One of the first weapons you get to build is a Glaive, which is quite powerful and fun to play around with. If you own the Witch Queen expansion, you can now build weapons with unique stats in the forge. You can create new characters later in the game, but you’ll need to play through the story missions over again. It’s super fun and it will help you survive the campaign missions. Another turns you into Captain America.įor your first playthrough, go with Titan. One of which lets you wield a Thor-like hammer and throw it at enemies. I decided to go with Titan and now I’m glad I did. For this reason, most players choose Hunter. But Hunter and Warlock look super badass. Titan has better stats, despite his thicc look. And I know it’s a hard decision for most other players as well. The biggest decision I had to make before starting the game was to pick a class. Of course, you can grab other expansions any time, if you can afford it. It has some of the best content in the game right now and it won’t necessarily make you feel like out of the loop. If you’re happy with that expansion, go ahead and grab the Witch Queen expansion.

It’s enough to get a sense of the game and see if it’s your type of game. So, if you’re new to the game, I recommend that you try the New Light free-to-play version of the game. I used to recommend players to get all the expansions of Destiny 2 at the start, but since there are so many expansions and editions available in the game right now, it can be pretty expensive. Since I’m a PVE-only player, these are all PVE focused tips. The guide is mainly about surviving the main campaigns and expansions all by yourself. This is a list of tips I pretty much had to learn the hard way. Thankfully, I wasn’t new to looter-shooters so I managed to learn my way around the game very quickly.
